FSRI has been partnering with the FDNY for over a decade to bring fire science to the streets. Produced by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), this video provides real-life examples of how they are continuing to put the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes research into practice on the fireground. This episode of the FDNY Chief’s Corner highlights specific uses of exterior water streams and the importance of fireground communication and coordination.

FSRI would like to thank Chief of Operations Thomas J. Richardson and Chief of the Fire Training Academy and FSRI Coordinated Fire Attack Technical Panel Member Frank Leeb for allowing us to share this training video with our followers.
