John David Evans is the Lead Software Engineer at UL's Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI). His work focuses on providing technical guidance to the team of software engineers, developing, and testing software applications. Prior to joining FSRI, John was a Senior Data Integration Developer at the University of Maryland Medical System. John holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration - Economics from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. He has also received a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Science in Statistics with Data Science from the University of Edinburgh.
