John Ceriello
Captain, New York City Fire Department (FDNY)
John Ceriello began his career in July of 1981 with the Roslyn Highlands Volunteer Company where he later joined the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) in February of 1988. John has worked his way through the ranks including Lieutenant assigned to Special Operations Command, Squad Co. 252, in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, NY. Upon his promotion to Captain, he took a detail at the FDNY Training Academy where he also operates as a Captain assigned to the Brooklyn Borough. He has been an integral part of the FDNY's Wind Impacted Fire Project and Ventilation Project. He was also on the advisory panel for the Impact of Horizontal and Vertical Ventilation studies.
