Jens Stiegel is the Deputy Chief of Department with the Mannheim Fire and Rescue Services in Germany. As the Chief of Operations, he is responsible for all of the Department‘s operational duties including Fire Stations and staffing, special operations, operational plannings&strategy and the Department’s Fire and Rescue Academy. Chief Stiegel has a university degree in civil engineering with a focus on construction and fire protection. Jens also represents Germany as a delegate to the Federation of European Fire Officers Association (F.E.U.).
