Bekah Schrader
Research Engineer
Bekah Schrader is a Research Engineer at UL’s Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI). She received her Bachelor of Science in fire protection engineering from the University of Maryland in 2022. During her time as an undergraduate student, she was an intern at FSRI and worked on a large range of projects including large-scale fire testing and wildland-urban interface (WUI) fire research. She was also a Research Fellow at FSRI while completing her Master of Science in fire protection engineering at the University of Maryland. Her graduate work focused on WUI fire research, as she studied the heat transfer through various window types exposed to external heat flux.
